The YMCA Weaverville Elementary Afterschool Program is celebrating Absolutely Incredible Kid Day! Through the Togetherhood initiative, members can serve in a youth-led celebration focused on kindness, creativity, and community.
Volunteers are invited to help create a welcoming and festive environment where students can participate in activity stations such as face painting, arts and crafts, games, and creative decorating. Volunteers will help support these stations, encourage participation, and make sure every child feels welcomed and included.
This is a fun and energetic event where just a small amount of time can make a meaningful difference in creating a memorable experience for local youth at Weaverville Elementary School.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers will help support activity stations throughout the event, including:
Face Painting Station
Assist with simple face painting and help keep the line organized so every child has a chance to participate.
Arts & Crafts Tables
Help students with creative craft projects and encourage their creativity.
Decorating & Event Setup
Assist with decorating activity spaces and helping create a festive atmosphere for the celebration.
Game Stations
Help facilitate simple games and keep activities running smoothly for students.
General Event Support
Welcome families, encourage participation, and help maintain a fun and positive environment throughout the event.
No special skills are required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help create a great experience for the kids.
