Overview
The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a federally mandated, annual effort to count individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community. The data collected directly informs local funding decisions, housing resources, and support services across Buncombe County.
As a volunteer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that this count is accurate, respectful, and reflective of the real needs of our neighbors.
