Help keep things running smoothly at the heart of AHOPE.
Front Desk Volunteers assist clients by charging and labeling electronics, securing and tagging bikes, and providing access to lockers.
You’ll also support case managers with light administrative tasks that make a big difference in the daily flow of services.
We’d love volunteers to join us from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, but if that’s too long, you’re welcome to help during either 8:00–11:00 AM or 11:00 AM–1:00 PM. This registration is to sign up for a full day of service from 8:00am - 1:00pm.
AHOPE is the only day center for people experiencing homelessness in the region. AHOPE provides services including showers, coffee, mail services, and storage of personal belongings for an average 172 people a day.
Above it all, AHOPE is also the first step on the journey back to permanent housing. Volunteers are critical to the successful operation of AHOPE.
