Hospitality Desk Volunteers hand out towels, toiletries, and other daily essentials while helping clients access lockers and supporting with laundry for showers.
This role creates a welcoming environment and ensures guests feel cared for and respected.
We’d love volunteers to join us from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, but if that’s too long, you’re welcome to help during either 8:00–11:00 AM or 11:00 AM–2:00 PM. This registration is to sign up for a full day of service from 8:00am - 2:00pm.
AHOPE is the only day center for people experiencing homelessness in the region. AHOPE provides services including showers, coffee, mail services, and storage of personal belongings for an average 172 people a day.
Above it all, AHOPE is also the first step on the journey back to permanent housing. Volunteers are critical to the successful operation of AHOPE.
